FORGING
Precision die forging is a process in which a high precision die is used to form a shape close to the finished product during forging. Its forging temperature is 850 to 1000 degree, which can ensure that the metal has good plasticity and low deformation resistance. The D700 from intercontinental Steel can guarantee good economy, better wear resistance, compressive strength and toughness than traditional hot work tool steel, and is more suitable for deep cavity forging dies. D600 is of both the high hardness of high-speed steel and cold work steel, and the excellent toughness of hot work steel, which can extend the life of the mold. Especially in the application of shallow cavity forging die, compared with traditional H13 steel, the die life can be extended tremendously. The D700 and D600 have been proven to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs successfully.
